This is the second time I’ve seen this Canadian or Mexican (but certainly not American) X-Trail around town. The first time was like five years ago. I wonder what the mechanics think when it comes in for service.

I’d be impressed if you actually counted them.

Family friend owns one, has owned it since he moved to Canada over 10 years ago.

Interesting name. Better than N-trail I suppose...

I saw one once, down from BC. Good looking little rig. Aren’t they the Canadian/Central American version of the Rogue or something?

Those ones in particular pre-date the Rogue by quite a few years, the previous gen Rogue was based on the X-Trail and now they decided (like many manufacturers) that the off-road capable SUV is not necessary and turned it into a crossover, which negates the need to make two different cars, so now they are the same car with different names, which is sad really since old X-Trails are really capable off-road...
EDIT: And the X-Trail is the Japanese original, the Rogue is the American CUV based on the X-Trail.
